What a surprise and an honor to receive Housing Action NH's "Home Matters in NH Media Award" in December during their annual conference at the NH Institute of Politics at St. Anselm College. The most important thing for a film like "Communities & Consequences II" is to be told that it is making some small difference assisting the incredible people working on the ground - advocating for and providing housing options for people of all incomes, ages, and circumstances. Of course we share this award with my project partners in crime Peter Francese and Lorraine Merrill. Also a giant shout-out to Dawn DeAngelis and everyone at NHPBS for their support as a true partner in bringing local filmmakers' stories to a broad audience. Onward.
